The trip is timed to mark the 25th anniversary of the Russian-Chinese treaty on good-neighborliness, friendship, and cooperation.
As a result of the talks, the signing of a top-level statement and a number of bilateral intergovernmental, interagency, and other documents is planned.
The last time Vladimir Putin was in China was in August-September 2025.
During the visit to China, he will be accompanied by deputy prime ministers, ministers, heads of regions, the Central Bank, and state corporations.
In particular, Igor Sechin, Alexey Miller, Gennady Timchenko, Andrey Guryev, Leonid Mikhelson, and Oleg Deripaska will come to China.
