Ukraine’s Foreign Ministry says the country “does not use Latvia’s territory or airspace for its operations against Russia and does not intend to do so”
This was said by ministry spokesperson Heorhii Tykhyi. According to him, “the latest false statements by Moscow accusing Ukraine of preparing attacks against Russia from Latvian territory do not contain a word of truth.”
“We officially deny them. Ukraine does not use Latvia’s territory or airspace for its operations against Russia and does not intend to do so,” Tykhyi noted.
🔵On May 19, the SVR said that the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is preparing to carry out a series of new “strikes on the rear regions of the Russian Federation,” and that Latvia had agreed to the launch of drones from its territory.
