The decision in the lawsuit filed by Russia’s Justice Ministry was handed down by the Zavodskoy District Court of Oryol Region.
“When the state declares people who write about love, rights, and mental health to be extremists, it is essentially admitting that the truth about LGBT people is more dangerous to it than any propaganda. And that is precisely why we cannot afford to fall silent,” said Yevgeny Pisemsky, editor-in-chief of Parni+.
The publication promises to continue its work.
