From May 19 to 21, the Russian Armed Forces are conducting drills on preparing and using nuclear forces under the threat of aggression, the Defense Ministry said.

The drills involve the Strategic Missile Forces, the Northern and Pacific Fleets, Long-Range Aviation Command, and part of the forces of the Leningrad and Central Military Districts, for a total of more than 64,000 service members and more than 7,800 pieces of equipment, including more than 200 missile launchers and 8 strategic missile submarines, the ministry said.
