People in masks, with weapons, sledgehammers, and wearing camouflage uniforms, who burst into the building of the Moskovsky Komsomolets editorial office during the day on May 19, came to the office of the ANO Medical Technology Consortium, MK financial director Yekaterina Chereshnikova said.
This refers to an association created in 2020 on the initiative of Russia’s Ministry of Industry and Trade. The ANO Medical Technology Consortium includes more than 240 organizations, including defense industry enterprises. Among the consortium’s founders is the Shvabe holding company, which works in optics and is part of Rostec.
The outlet T-Invariant notes that the Medical Technology Consortium cooperated with the company Innovative Engineering Center, established by Katerina Tikhonova’s Innopraktika foundation — Vladimir Putin’s younger daughter.
