Tomsk region bans filming of drone strikes and their aftermath

In Tomsk region, filming of drone strikes and their aftermath has been banned

The decree was signed by the region’s governor, Vladimir Mazur. It concerns a ban on photo and video recording of the use of drones, as well as the consequences of their use.

“Prohibit: photography, video and/or filming on the territory of Tomsk region of the use and consequences of the use of unmanned aerial vehicles; the use and consequences of the use of air defense and electronic warfare means (systems); crash sites and impact sites involving unmanned aerial vehicles,” the decree says, as published on the official website of the regional government.

Also banned is filming of the deployment locations of Defense Ministry forces, military infrastructure facilities, protection systems for the fuel and energy sector, industry, housing and utilities, bridges, and other “critically important facilities.”

The distance from Tomsk region to Ukraine exceeds three thousand kilometers.
