I was born in Perm. I never supported either Putin or the war, and in general, for as long as I can remember, I wanted to leave the Russian Federation, which I managed to do even before the war. My elderly parents remained in Perm (they are also against the “special military operation”) and other relatives as well. Perm is packed with oil facilities and various factories (including military ones), and I am very afraid for my family.

Back when the Ukrainian Armed Forces and the Security Service of Ukraine were only beginning to carry out killings and explosions on Russian territory, in which civilians were among those killed, I began to have doubts that they were really all that different from the cannibalistic authorities and military of the Russian Federation. Now that facilities where civilian workers are employed are deliberately being targeted, and those carrying out the strikes know that there is a high probability of casualties among them, Ukrainians have lost all moral superiority in my eyes. It is one thing when you shoot at an enemy soldier and the bullet accidentally hits a civilian, and quite another when you aim at a civilian facility (for example, an oil refinery or something similar), fully understanding that civilians work there and that there are no soldiers or weapons there and that innocent people will be killed. At this point, I am certain that I want such strikes to be stopped immediately. By any means necessary.
