A drone has again entered Latvia. Train traffic on the border with Russia and Belarus has been suspended

At least one drone entered Latvian airspace, the country's National Armed Forces (NBS) reported.

Initially, at around 11 a.m., the Latvian military reported a possible threat in the airspace over the Ludza, Kraslava, Rezekne, and Augsdaugava municipalities. In those border areas with Russia and Belarus, train traffic was suspended because of the drone.

Latvian residents have now been warned about a possible airspace threat for the third day in a row.

In the previous cases, the drones in question were Ukrainian ones involved in attacks on targets in Russia that had lost their bearings because of electronic warfare systems.
