Syzran Refinery has suspended operations after the UAV attack.
“The situation is under control. There is no threat of oil rain after the strike on the refinery. The fire at the facility itself has already been contained. Schools, kindergartens, and other institutions are operating as usual. Two people were killed, and there is no official data on the wounded,” Syzran Mayor Sergei Volodchenkov said.
Syzran Refinery is one of the largest oil refining enterprises in the Samara Region and is part of Rosneft’s structure.
Control Arrived After the Refinery Stopped
After the UAV strike, Syzran refinery stopped work and the fire was contained.
Control was announced after the shutdown again.
