Police carried out a raid at the Moscow club-restaurant “Simach v Nedalnem”

Police officers, eyewitnesses told Ostorozhno, Novosti, came to the club at about 01:40. They stopped the party, turned off the music, and banned visitors from leaving the club.

At first, the publication’s sources said, visitors were told that only men would be searched, but in the end women were checked too. People were taken in small groups to the restroom on floor minus one, where they were asked to empty their pockets, phone cases were removed, wallets were checked, and they were asked questions about possible drug use.

According to eyewitnesses, one of the visitors was forced face down onto the floor during the raid and a stun gun was used on him.

What caused the police to visit the club was not known at the time of writing. Official law enforcement representatives did not comment on the raid at “Simach v Nedalnem.”

“Simach v Nedalnem,” located on Tverskoy Boulevard, is one of the best-known clubs in Moscow.
