OVD-Info has been defending defendants in “FBK donation” cases in court for several years. Help our clients stay free!

Because of donations to FBK, more than 200 criminal cases have been opened in Russia for “financing an extremist organization.” Today we are handling the cases of six clients:

🟠 Aleksandr Moyseyuk, a journalist from Ryazan and former editor-in-chief of one of the local publications, was detained in February 2026. He is accused of transferring 300 rubles to FBK in August 2021; he is being held in pretrial detention.

🟠 Anton Zhigalov, a father of two and an entrepreneur from Kaliningrad, is under house arrest. He is being tried for 7 transfers to FBK totaling 2,100 rubles.

🟠 Four more of our clients asked to remain anonymous.

Each of them faces up to 8 years in prison. But the statistics are encouraging: out of 156 sentences known to us, 131 did not involve imprisonment, and most of them were given fines of up to 700,000 rubles.
