Eight scenarios for ending the war from Sberbank, from German Gref’s correspondence that fell into hackers’ hands

The hacker group Black Mirror has published screenshots of a Sberbank analytical memo listing eight scenarios for ending the large-scale war between Russia and Ukraine.

The document is dated April 2026, meaning it was prepared before the intensification of AFU attacks on oil refining industry enterprises and logistics facilities. According to the hackers, the analytical memo was obtained from correspondence between Sberbank Management Board Chairman German Gref and an unnamed interlocutor.

The authenticity of these screenshots has not been confirmed. Bank representatives have not yet commented on the possible leak of the correspondence. We explain which scenarios are mentioned in this document.
