Former lawyer for the founder of Baring Vostok remanded in custody in Moscow for two months
The decision by the capital’s Zamoskvoretsky District Court regarding Dmitry Kletochkin in a case of attempted fraud on an especially large scale became known from the case file.
At the firm Rustam Kurmaev and Partners, where the lawyer works, they told RBC that it is connected to a civil-law dispute in which Kletochkin represented the interests of one of the clients.
🔵Kletochkin was a lawyer for Baring Vostok founder Michael Calvey. In that case, seven people, including Calvey himself, were found guilty in 2021. They were accused of embezzling 2.5 billion rubles from Vostochny Bank by issuing an unrecoverable loan to the First Collection Bureau.
