Two people injured in a UAV raid on Novorossiysk, oil depot and fuel terminal on fire
This was reported by city head Andrei Kravchenko. According to his information, the injured people were “in an open area.”
“As a result of falling UAV debris, a fire broke out on the territory of the oil depot. Several technical and administrative buildings caught fire. Drone fragments also fell on the territory of the fuel terminal. Emergency and specialized services are working at the scene,” he noted.
After studying eyewitness videos, Astra concluded that after the attack, smoke was rising from the Sheskharis oil loading terminal, located on the coast of Novorossiysk.
NASA FIRMS fire monitoring system also recorded a fire at the Grushovaya oil depot, owned by Transneft. It is considered the largest oil storage facility in the Caucasus.
