A Russian drone struck a funeral procession in Sumy

One person was killed as a result of an attack by a Russian drone on a funeral procession in Sumy, Oleh Hryhorov, head of the Sumy regional military administration, said.

As local authorities said, the strike on the funeral procession heading to one of the city’s cemeteries was carried out during the day on May 23 by a fiber-optic FPV drone. The drone exploded on the roadway next to a bus carrying participants in the funeral procession.

Initially, the authorities reported nine injured. Four of the victims were treated at the scene. The rest were hospitalized. Two of them were in serious condition.
