Nine people were killed in a strike on a minibus in the “LNR”; the Donetsk City shopping mall in occupied Donetsk also came under attack — Investigative Committee
This was reported by the Investigative Committee, as cited by RIA Novosti.
“A massive missile strike was carried out on civilian infrastructure in the city of Donetsk. In particular, a shopping center (‘Donetsk City’ — editor’s note) where people were present sustained damage,” an Investigative Committee employee said.
There is no information about casualties.
At the same time, the Ukrainian channel Exilenova+ claimed that the missile strike had allegedly targeted the headquarters of the 51st Army.
The head of the “LNR,” Leonid Pasechnik, says that the strike on the Lysychansk–Stakhanov bus, which was traveling along the Zolotoye–Pervomaisk highway, occurred during the day. There were 15 passengers on board.
“As a result of the monstrous attack, eight people were killed on the spot. A 20-year-old woman was rushed to intensive care. Doctors fought for her life, but were unable to save her. Her mother was wounded. An 18-year-old woman was also injured and hospitalized. Three more passengers and the driver received the necessary medical care and were referred for outpatient treatment,” he claims.
The Investigative Committee opened a criminal case on terrorism charges.
