Blogger Ilya Remeslo was not released from pretrial detention in the case over military “fakes.” At the hearing he said that “Russia will be free”
RIA Novosti reports this. The Moscow City Court ruled his arrest lawful until September 16.
“The ruling of the Basmanny Court of Moscow is to remain unchanged, and the appeals are to be left without satisfaction,” the court said.
The main part of the hearing was held behind closed doors; listeners and the press were admitted only for the announcement of the operative part of the decision.
“Thank you for the attention to my case. Russia will be free!” Remeslo himself said.
