1-2 - Afipsky Oil Refinery, Krasnodar Krai. A gas and gas condensate processing unit (SPGK) was hit, according to images shown by the channel "Absolutely Reliable Source". This is the eighth confirmed hit on the Afipsky refinery. The last time it was struck was in June.

3 - Novoshakhtinsk Oil Refinery, Rostov Oblast. According to official information, the plant's operation has been suspended. But there is no objective control, and no information from sources either. For now, we are not listing it as a successful strike.

4-9 - Amur Gas Chemical Complex (AGCC). A methanol tank exploded, after which an auxiliary section of the pyrolysis unit caught fire. 7 people were killed, including 6 Chinese citizens. A total of 152 people were injured (updated).

▪️The plant was being built together with China (60% SIBUR, 40% Sinopec) and had not yet been commissioned. The output was intended for China.

▪️The section is auxiliary, but the unit is not. Pyrolysis is what the entire complex depends on. No pyrolysis means nothing else works, the rest of the plant simply stands idle.

▪️The unit was being built as the world's largest by ethylene pyrolysis capacity: 2.7 million tons/year. The launch had been postponed multiple times starting from mid-2024. The first batch was now being promised for Q3 2026.

▪️The explosion occurred during commissioning work, when the systems were put under real pressure and hydrocarbons for the first time.
