A Ukrainian history textbook for Ukrainian schoolchildren is being prepared in Russia.

“We will speak the truth, and how to get it to schoolchildren in the territory that is still under the control of the Kyiv regime is a separate question. [...] This will be a truthful textbook showing, among other things, how the current Kyiv regime came to this,” Mikhail Myagkov, scientific director of the Russian Military Historical Society, told RIA Novosti.

Myagkov did not specify who is writing the textbook, when it will be released, or which grades it is intended for.

“I will not reveal all the details, but it will cover history from ancient times,” he said.
