Ukrainian drones attacked the Caspian Pipeline Consortium’s (CPC) marine terminal in Novorossiysk during oil loading, the CPC reported.

The targets of the attack were two tankers flying the flags of Liberia and the Marshall Islands, with international crews on board. As a result of the strike, a fire broke out on the Liberian tanker. It has already been extinguished. Both tankers remained afloat. Damage is being assessed.

Oil loading at the marine terminal was halted. No oil spill occurred. There were no injuries among CPC employees or its contractors. Members of the tankers’ crews did not seek medical assistance.
