Yabloko in Pskov Region says signatures were forged in Rodina documents

At the court hearing on removing Rodina from the election to the regional parliament, Yabloko lawyer Maria Uryupina petitioned for a handwriting examination to be назначено.

The signatures of the same Rodina candidates do not match in two different documents, the Pskov Yabloko press service said. In one of the consent-to-run statements, the signature resembles not the candidate’s signature but that of the Interior Ministry employee who issued the passport, the party noted.

It was also noted that of the 29 candidates on Rodina’s unified list, only five permanently live in Pskov Region. The rest are residents of Udmurtia, Khakassia, Novosibirsk, Moscow, Omsk, Tambov, Tula, and Chelyabinsk regions, Krasnoyarsk Krai, and the Republic of Mordovia.

🔵Earlier, Rodina did manage to get Yabloko removed from the election in Pskov Region. Yabloko filed a countersuit seeking Rodina’s removal. The court hearing will continue tomorrow.

🔵Federal Yabloko also said that the lawsuits by LDPR and Communists of Russia against the party in Sverdlovsk and Kaliningrad regions literally repeat each other in places: the documents matched by about 63%.
