Mediazona identified the names of 27 military personnel killed in the An-26 crash in Crimea. According to one version, the plane crashed into a cliff

The plane, which among others was carrying Lieutenant General Aleksandr Otroshchenko, commander of the Northern Fleet's composite aviation corps, crashed on March 31. There were 29 people on board in total: seven crew members and 22 passengers.

Since the crash, the list of the dead and the causes of the disaster had not been disclosed.

Only Otroshchenko's name had been officially announced. His portrait, along with photos of 12 other military personnel, was published on social media by participants in an экскурсия around Severomorsk (the main base of Russia's Northern Fleet).

Tourists' photos also captured a plaque above the portraits. It says that these military personnel were "Northern Fleet aviation personnel who died in the line of military duty in the An-26 plane crash on 31.03.2026."
