Military enlistment offices will be able to obtain financial and legal data on people liable for military service and their relatives

The Defense Ministry has prepared a draft order that would allow military enlistment offices to obtain expanded information about citizens who are registered for military service and their relatives, Fontanka reports.

According to the document dated August 25, military enlistment offices will be able to request from government agencies and private companies information on taxes and loans, employment and business activity, involvement in traffic accidents, marriage registration and dissolution, possession of a foreign passport, and other data.

It is planned to obtain similar information about the spouses, children, and parents of people liable for military service.
