Russia’s strike on Kyiv on May 24 is unprecedented in the number of museums and other cultural landmarks affected

Because of the massive shelling of Kyiv and the surrounding region on May 24, during which the Russian army used the "Oreshnik" system for the third time in the entire full-scale war, not only were more than 80 civilians affected (two of them were killed), but many cultural institutions as well: buildings of a theater, a philharmonic hall, museums, a library, universities, a church, and a monastery were damaged. Some of them are architectural landmarks.
