In Rostov Region, a state of emergency has been declared. Because of drones, the region cannot ship grain for export

The order signed by Governor Yuri Slyusar says that because of increasingly frequent AFU attacks on logistics facilities, shipping in the Azov-Black Sea basin has been disrupted. This has led to the accumulation of “significant volumes” of agricultural products at producers’ sites.

Slyusar added that the severe situation in Rostov Region has been developing since July 10. The situation could lead not only to material losses, but also disrupt the “conditions of people’s daily lives,” the governor’s order says.

Since mid-July, the AFU has been striking Russian ports in the Sea of Azov, through which about a quarter of Russian grain exports pass. Ports in the Black Sea are also being attacked. As a result, more than 80% of grain export capacity has been paralyzed.
