Wildberries and Ozon marketplace warehouses were removed from 2GIS maps

Warehouses of the Ozon and Wildberries marketplaces, including those hit by drone strikes, have been removed from the 2GIS mapping service. Verstka noticed this.

Among the Ozon facilities that disappeared from the maps are warehouses recently attacked in Chapayevsk (Samara Region), Orenburg, the settlement of Druzhny (Adygea), Nevinnomyssk (Stavropol Territory), and Blagoveshchensk (Bashkortostan).

All of the listed warehouses can be found in search engine caches, but when you open their pages in 2GIS, the notice appears: “The branch has been removed from the directory. It may have closed permanently or is temporarily not operating”. In the case of Chapayevsk, the service does not even show the warehouse card, and the system says that “nothing was found” for the given query.

Among the Wildberries warehouses that had come under attack, facilities in Yekaterinburg, Utkina Zavod (St. Petersburg), Kotovsk (Tambov Region), the settlement of Novosemeykino (Samara Region), in the Novousmansky District of Voronezh Region, and in other regions were removed.

At the same time, Wildberries and Ozon warehouses in Russia that had not been attacked were also removed from the service. At the same time, marketplace facilities in other countries, for example in Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan, are still available on the maps. In addition, the service still shows warehouses of other marketplaces, for example Yandex Market and Magnit Market.

Exactly when 2GIS began removing Ozon and Wildberries warehouses is not known for sure. Local outlet Om1 wrote at the end of July that some Wildberries warehouses had disappeared from maps in Novosibirsk. At that time, however, one facility was still shown on the maps.
