Pegasus Airlines said that it canceled flights to Russia for "technical and operational reasons"

The company said that overnight flights from September 1 to September 2 on the Russia route were canceled, but starting September 2 flights are continuing as planned, on schedule.

Additional flights are also planned for Pegasus Airlines passengers affected by the cancellations, the company said.

ATOR said that tour operators are promptly rebooking their clients onto other flights. According to the association, the cancellation is connected "with a schedule adjustment due to the closure of airspace over a number of Russian cities."

There is no talk of canceling flight programs or Turkish carriers leaving Russia, the association's press service clarified, TASS writes.

🔵In the morning, Pegasus began mass cancellations of flights from Turkey to Moscow. According to Ostorozhno, Novosti, at least 12 of the airline's flights were delayed for arrival and departure at Vnukovo. Passengers on Pegasus flight PC1458 from Dalaman to Moscow told Ostorozhno, Novosti that they were supposed to depart at 01:30, but the flight was canceled. At 12:00 on September 2, they were taken to the airport again, while airline staff still are not providing any additional information.
