Parliamentary elections have ended in Hungary. Viktor Orbán conceded his party’s defeat in the parliamentary elections and congratulated Péter Magyar of the opposition “Tisza” party on his victory

At the moment, the opposition Tisza party already has 138 of the 199 seats in parliament after 72.44% of the votes have been processed. The country’s incumbent prime minister said the election results were clear, calling them painful. Orbán added that Fidesz would serve Hungary from the opposition.

French President Emmanuel Macron and European People’s Party leader Manfred Weber congratulated Tisza party leader Péter Magyar on his victory in Hungary’s parliamentary elections. Magyar wrote about this on his social media.
