At the Congress of Russian Psychiatrists, homosexuality and transgenderness were called mental illnesses. And they declared that there is a “fifth column of trans-LGBT-friendly doctors” in Russia

Olga Bukhanovskaya, chief physician of the Phoenix treatment and rehabilitation research center, told the 18th Congress of Russian Psychiatrists about a “transgender spectrum disorder,” which includes “five illnesses,” including homosexuality. Vyorstka drew attention to Bukhanovskaya’s speech.

Among these “illnesses,” she also named “fetishistic transvestism,” personality disorder, schizotypal disorder, and “schizophrenia combined with periodic effemination” (“effemination” is an outdated and incorrect term referring to “feminine-like manifestations” in men).

“It is precisely these five illnesses that fall under the umbrella of ‘transgenderness.’ If people now so nicely say ‘autism spectrum disorder,’ then we can say ‘transgender spectrum disorder,’ and all [these] mental illnesses are included there,” Bukhanovskaya said.

In addition, Bukhanovskaya claims that there is a “5th column of medicine” in Russia engaged in the “propaganda of transgenderness.” Among them, she named “trans-LGBT-friendly doctors,” “trans-LGBT-friendly psychologists,” and “trans-LGBT-friendly lecturers.”

🟪Olga Bukhanovskaya is the daughter of psychiatrist Alexander Bukhanovsky, who compiled the psychological profile of serial killer Andrei Chikatilo.
