Despite the fact that Russian war correspondents are guys "from the plow" and do not shine with any special intelligence, it is precisely they who have an excellent feel for the tectonic shifts of the frontline layers and are the first to raise a desperate cry.

And they raised a racket today too.

Though, to be fair, the correspondents do have a weakness for panic and doom-and-gloom.

Especially now, because they have gone hungry, having long been denied their usual portion of charred human flesh and "victories."

Nevertheless, the grounds for their hysteria are entirely realistic. The Russian horde has been butting against the AFU's defenses for many months already and has lost any hope of breaking the front.

And over more than four years the orcs have acquired some elementary knowledge and know "what it smells like" when there is a tactical slowdown.

Today the war correspondents' panic intensified because suddenly, unexpectedly (for the Ukrainian side as well), movement began along the line of contact. The orcs, exhausted and turned swinish in their holes, are losing heart and in some places are actually retreating.

I am writing this so cautiously and "not in bright colors" because the trend is not yet front-wide, but local.

In particular, a panicked Russian pullback is being observed in the Zaporizhzhia and Dnipropetrovsk directions.
