Russian Post employees were allowed to use weapons against drones
Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin signed a resolution allowing federal postal organizations to use special technical equipment to combat drones.
It refers to “special technical means for countering unmanned aerial, underwater and surface vessels and craft, unmanned vehicles, and other automated unmanned systems.” Which specific means are meant is not specified. Previously, the list of permitted equipment included service and civilian weapons, ammunition, body armor, and other personal protective equipment.
It is also unclear which specific Russian Post divisions will be allowed to use weapons against drones.
