U.S. citizen Seth William Baker was killed in the war against Ukraine.
Information about Baker’s death has appeared in Russian Z-publics only now. According to our data, the American was killed two years ago — in early September 2024 — and had been listed as missing in action since 09/27/2024. Only three months passed between his signing a contract with the Russian Defense Ministry and his death.
Seth William Baker, born 09/07/2000, was from Arizona. He had previously served in the U.S. Marine Corps. According to Baker’s own account, he was discharged from service because, during the COVID-19 pandemic that claimed 1.2 million American lives, he refused vaccination. After that, he tried to enter a police academy but failed to score the required number of points.
Unable to find his place at home, Baker converted to Orthodoxy and went to Russia, where on 06/02/2024 he signed a contract with the Russian Armed Forces. He was 23 years old when he signed the contract and when he was killed.
While the Kremlin publicly curries favor with the White House, those U.S. citizens whom Russian propaganda lured to Russia are being driven into meat assaults alongside mercenaries from African and Asian countries.
Those who are unlucky may be “zeroed out” right in the rear, as happened to the American Russell Bentley. He was tortured and killed by servicemen of the 5th Separate Motor Rifle Brigade, and his body was then thrown into a mine shaft. Russia can talk all it wants about “friendship” with Americans, but in reality an American passport in Russia’s war does not protect anyone from a bullet, a meat assault, or execution.
Baker was sent to the 1442nd Motor Rifle Regiment of the 6th Motor Rifle Division. This unit is known for heavy losses and “zeroing out,” something the wives of servicemen from the regiment have repeatedly recorded appeals about.
For Baker, the Russian army also became his final place of service. Three months after signing the contract, he was killed, and in Russia only one Telegram channel with 1.5 subscribers remembered his death, and even then two years later.
