Information about Baker’s death has appeared in Russian Z-publics only now. According to our data, the American was killed two years ago — in early September 2024 — and had been listed as missing in action since 09/27/2024. Only three months passed between his signing a contract with the Russian Defense Ministry and his death.

Seth William Baker, born 09/07/2000, was from Arizona. He had previously served in the U.S. Marine Corps. According to Baker’s own account, he was discharged from service because, during the COVID-19 pandemic that claimed 1.2 million American lives, he refused vaccination.
