Over the past 6 years (across the Russian Federation as a whole), this is the 118th monument to the organizer of the most massive repressions and killings of the 20th century.

To reinforce Russians' national senility, this is a formally correct move.

But in essence, it is "monkey work."

The loutish rabble really does need bloody idols.

They are supposed to inspire the Russian people toward intransigence, fascism, and cannibalism.
