Staff of the American embassy left Kyiv after strikes announced by the Russian Foreign Ministry.

At the same time, the diplomatic missions of all EU countries

remain in Ukraine’s capital:

“Yesterday we learned that all embassies except one stayed in Ukraine. So that also requires courage from embassy staff. But yes, all the Europeans stayed. America left,” Kaja Kallas said

Earlier, the Russian Foreign Ministry said the military was beginning to carry out systematic strikes on enterprises of Ukraine’s military-industrial complex, as well as decision-making centers and command posts in Kyiv.

The ministry recommended that foreign citizens, including diplomatic mission personnel, leave Kyiv as soon as possible.

UPD: Ukraine’s Foreign Ministry does not confirm the information about the Americans’ departure

UPD2: The U.S. Embassy in Ukraine denied the information about an evacuation from Kyiv

The First Thing to Leave Was Clarity

The Americans' departure was first reported, then denied.

The evacuation only worked in rumors again.
