Uralvagonzavod deputy head arrested in embezzlement case tied to a state defense order

According to investigators, the violations were committed during the implementation of contracts for the supply of climate-control equipment for the defense industry.

The investigation believes that in June 2016, TsNIITochMash signed a contract with FSK Progress LLC for the supply of equipment worth 132.1 million rubles. At the same time, the actual cost of the equipment was about 78 million rubles. The difference of more than 50 million rubles, according to investigators, was stolen by people involved in the case and then cashed out.

Two other defendants in the case gave testimony against Uralvagonzavod deputy head Dmitry Semizorov. One of them is under a ban on certain actions, the second is under house arrest.
