That means the "Meteors" will be mounted on the C/D "Gripens." Sorry for the mistake in the previous post, I read up on it in more detail, and the C/D "Gripens" really can carry "Meteors." That's the kind of mistake I'm happy to make.

Holy shit... Friends, this is a weapon that really will be able to counter glide bombs and strip Russia of its key advantage on the battlefield. Not counter the glide bombs themselves, of course, but the Russian fighter jets that launch those glide bombs from far behind the front line.

The range of the "Meteors" is 120-200 km. Their "trick" is a 60-kilometer so-called no escape zone ("guaranteed kill zone") - roughly speaking, if a "Meteor" is launched within that zone, the aircraft can no longer evade it. This is, of course, a very simplified explanation, but just for a general understanding.

This should significantly reduce Ukraine's losses on the front line and the deaths of civilians in frontline cities that Russia is flattening with glide bombs.
