After an "LGBT propaganda" charge was filed against the CHA U KAO brand, it deleted posts featuring ambassador Alexey Zhidkovsky from social media

Social media users discovered this, Mediazona notes.

The cosmetics brand launched the campaign with blogger Alexey Zhidkovsky in February. He became the ambassador for a lip gloss line.

"Bright, charismatic, outrageous Alexey in our shoot makes a reference to the brand's muse, the legendary dancer Cha-U-Kao, an artist who loved provocation, the stage, transformations, chose the male profession of clown, wore men's suits, and turned every appearance into a vivid statement," one of CHA U KAO's posts says.

Since February, the brand's channel had published four posts mentioning Alexey Zhidkovsky. All of them were deleted on May 27.

There are also no photos of the blogger in the lip gloss product cards on Ozon. On Wildberries, glosses with Zhidkovsky's photo on the product card cost 3 to 5 times more than the same products without any mention of the blogger. In addition, these are the only products that cannot be reviewed, and they are placed at the very bottom of the store page on the marketplace.

🔵The "LGBT propaganda" charge against the company was filed with Moscow's Tagansky District Court in May; what prompted it was not specified.
