A children's playground in Kherson came under shelling, a man was killed and children were injured. The occupation “authorities” accused Ukraine of a “bloody provocation”
Head of the Kherson City Military Administration Yaroslav Shanko reported that on the evening of May 27, the Russian army struck Kherson’s Korabelnyi district with multiple launch rocket systems.
“They killed the father of four children and seriously wounded two of them, girls aged three and six. Doctors are now also fighting for the mother’s life. Another woman also sustained serious bodily injuries,” Shanko wrote on the morning of May 28.
The injured suffered blast injuries and shrapnel wounds, Ukraine’s police said, calling it a war crime.
Vladimir Saldo, the Russian-appointed “head” of Kherson region, accused Ukraine of a “bloody provocation in Kherson,” allegedly staged “to drown out the outrage after the tragedy in Starobilsk.”
