Russian private companies allowed to buy large-caliber weapons for protection against drones
Russian private companies have been allowed to purchase large-caliber weapons for protection against drones
These include anti-aircraft artillery systems, turrets, radar equipment, and electronic warfare systems, RBC reports, citing sources.
Previously, businesses could buy only "passive means of protecting facilities" for their guards, including small arms.
The authorities expect that the new rules, adopted "at the state level," will make it possible to equip mobile fire groups with weapons and hardware more quickly.
