What the U.S. Treasury published is the standard removal of deceased persons from the sanctions lists. It says so right there: outdated targets.

I went to the trouble of checking all 11 names. They are all dead.

Further, regarding the tankers: first, not two, but one. "Linda" and "Lady D" are the same tanker, which sailed under different names at different times. Why it was removed, apparently, is because it belonged to or was connected with one of the deceased.

There are 76 entries on the list in total, and besides Russians it includes representatives of Australia, Algeria, Bahrain, Iraq, Spain, Cambodia, Qatar, Colombia, Kyrgyzstan, Libya, Mexico, Myanmar, Peru, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Tunisia, the Philippines, and Japan.

To the паблики: read the damn documents at least once in a while when you make news about them. And don’t, God forbid, pull news from propaganda dumps like TASS, they themselves don’t check a damn thing and have no clue what they’re writing about.
