Journalist Mikhail Zygar said that a “political decision” has already been made to return the Dzerzhinsky monument to Lubyanka

He wrote this in a column for Der Spiegel, citing anonymous sources.

According to him, preparations have already begun in Moscow for the return of the monument to the founder of the Cheka to Lubyanka Square, where the KGB used to be located and where the FSB is now located. The monument was removed from there 35 years ago.

According to the journalist’s sources, the political decision on this has already been made.
