Rosatom accuses the Ukrainian Armed Forces of a drone strike on the turbine hall of Unit 6 at the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant, which left a hole in it


This was stated by Alexey Likhachev, the head of the state corporation.


“It seems many people are not taking attacks on nuclear power plants seriously. But today we came one step closer to an incident from which, with high probability, even those who live far beyond the borders of Russia and Ukraine and still think that they themselves are completely safe would suffer,” he noted.


According to Likhachev, the drone was guided via fiber optics, which “completely rules out the version of an allegedly accidental hit.”
