Pentagon chief Pete Hegseth promised to help Ukraine with air defense:

▪️"We are changing the way we produce all critical types of munitions to ensure that our companies deliver not just a little more, but much more across the board. Where we could help Ukraine, we helped. Where we could get Europe to do more, we helped. And I am encouraged by Europe's involvement. Look at how much money they have allocated. Europe stepped forward, and Ukraine has been just as effective, if not even more so. So we want them to be able to defend themselves, and we will find a way to make sure that we can help them."

Hegseth also said that Americans are learning a lot from Ukraine:
