What we still haven’t gotten used to is Ukrainian FPV middle-strikes freely flying over Taganrog, 200 km away, and taking out four targets in one go. We’re getting used to it!

1 - Tu-142, hit + follow-up recon, burning.

3 - Claimed to be an Iskander OTRK launcher, hard to tell from the outlines, so here we take "Madyar" at his word. Hit + follow-up recon, burning.

4 - Oil tanker, hit + follow-up recon, burning, hit again.

+5 - Feodosia, oil depot, three tanks hit; in follow-up recon we can see that two are burning, and the third has a puncture with oil gushing out of it. Possibly the UAV left a hole but did not detonate.

We’re waiting for satellite images to understand the extent of the damage to the second Tu-142 and get a better look at the “Iskander.”

The Tu-142 is a long-range anti-submarine aircraft, primarily intended to detect and destroy submarines. I don’t know how they were used in the war against Ukraine. Possibly they were used for reconnaissance and for searching the Black Sea for Ukrainian BEKs (naval drones).

But one thing can be stated unequivocally: the aircraft were operational. “Eye of Horus” recorded their movement around the airfield in satellite images in May.
