Huge lines formed at gas stations in Crimea. Photos and videos

On the peninsula annexed by Russia, there is a gasoline shortage because of Ukrainian drone strikes on one of the main supply routes, the highway connecting Rostov-on-Don and Simferopol. No more than 20 liters of gasoline can be purchased per day, but many gas stations do not have any at all.

Crimea’s head Sergey Aksyonov asked residents “not to buy gasoline for stockpiling and to refuel vehicles as usual.” In December of last year, Aksyonov promised to prevent a fuel shortage. “We have implemented a new logistics scheme. Now you can be sure that we will always have fuel,” he said.
