In Crimea, amid the fuel crisis, ads have appeared selling gasoline for 200-350 rubles per liter

Sellers on Avito posted ads offering gasoline for 200-350 rubles per liter in the annexed Crimea and Sevastopol amid fuel restrictions introduced in the region, Verstka noticed.

This is at least twice the official retail price. For example, one seller posted an ad offering AI-95 gasoline for 5,000 rubles for 20 liters (250 rubles/liter). Another listing offers AI-92 fuel for 200 rubles.

Some of the ads have already been taken down. This affected an offer to buy AI-95 gasoline at 200 rubles per liter and a voucher at an Atan gas station for 20 liters of the same fuel for 4,000 rubles.

In addition, Avito is hiding some listings. For example, one seller, as a service, offered the opportunity to find out where gasoline could be bought without restrictions. Ads from a platform user in Simferopol who was selling a 20-liter tank of AI-95 gasoline for 7,000 rubles were also sent for review. Thus, one liter could cost the buyer 350 rubles.

🟦On May 31, Crimea head Sergei Aksyonov said that AI-95 gasoline would be dispensed only by vouchers with no volume limit, while AI-92 would be limited to no more than 20 liters per car, with a ban on filling canisters.

🟦Sevastopol Governor Mikhail Razvozhayev also said the same day that gasoline would be dispensed only by vouchers in quantities of no more than 20 liters. Later he added that on June 1, most gas stations would have unrestricted fuel sales as tanker trucks arrived.
