Putin instructed the government and the FSB to ensure the uninterrupted operation of the “most important services during periods of internet restrictions” and Russians’ access to them.

Among such services, Putin mentioned medical care systems, the Gosuslugi portal, and payment systems.

The head of state appointed FSB Director Bortnikov and Prime Minister Mishustin as those responsible. They will present a report to the president by July 1.

Cut the internet, keep services up

With internet restrictions, Putin ordered key services to keep running.

First the disruption, then the order to ignore it.
