Commander of Ukraine’s Unmanned Systems Forces Robert Brovdi (“Madyar”) said that over the past two weeks, three of the five ferries serving the Kerch ferry crossing (“Yeysk,” “SKS-One,” and “Maria”) were destroyed, while the remaining two (“Lavrentiy” and “Panagiya”) lost self-propulsion and are being used as towed barges.
He added that four ferries had previously been used on the crossing on a regular basis. The capacity of each is 8 to 15 vehicles, and the combined daily capacity of four ferries under standard conditions reached 180 to 250 pieces of equipment, with 80% of the traffic accounted for by the needs of the Russian Defense Ministry.
