“July 2023. Berlin. One of the first concerts after our ban in Russia and forced emigration. We are crushed by the feeling that what is happening is impossible.

We understand that we have left our homes forever. Khamil is in intensive care after cardiac arrest. And our lyrics suddenly sound different. In the hall are people just like us: gone away, scattered, knocked out of life. We go on stage to hold ourselves together. To shake off the nightmare of war for at least an hour. To put ourselves back together again, if only for a little while. To be near each other. Not to stay silent. Not to lose one another.”
