Russia continues to ban imports from Armenia — now it’s apples, eggplants, and dried fruit
Rosselkhoznadzor has banned the import from Armenia of potatoes, eggplants, apples, pears, quinces, and dried fruit starting June 3. The restrictions are being introduced indefinitely.
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan promised to help producers and exporters facing “unfair obstacles to exports.”
The Armenian government will launch subsidy and support programs, and will also help those who suffered losses find new sales markets.
